DNA Sequence Analysis and Comparison Tutorial

In this tutorial you will use reference human mitochondrial DNA sequences
and online resources to:
- search for like DNA sequences in online databanks
- locate DNA sequences in genomes
- compare modern human DNA sequences
- compare modern human DNA sequences to Neanderthal
- compare modern human DNA sequences to other organisms
Note on Browser Compatibility!
- This exercise has been designed for viewing by Netscape Navigator, Version
3.0 or greater (Internet Explorer compatibility is forthcoming, though not
expected until Fall of '98).
- Note to Macintosh users: Due to a bug in Javascript support for the Macintosh
Netscape Version 3.x, loading this exercise may cause your machine to freeze.
To run this exercise using a Macintosh, you must use the Netscape Version
4.x browser (Communicator or Navigator).
