Mr. Kaufman formerly served as chairman of the board of Vizacom Inc., a publicly-held software and technology solutions company. Prior to joining Davidoff Malito & Hutcher LLP, Mr Kaufman was the managing member of Kaufman & Associates, LLC, Long Island's Corporate & Securities Law Firm. Before that, Mr. Kaufman practiced law for eight years with Lord Day & Lord, Barrett Smith and was a member of Blau, Kramer, Wactlar & Lieberman, P.C. Mr. Kaufman received a J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1984, where he was a staff member of the Journal of International Law & Politics, and a B.A. in History and Political Science from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1981, where he received an award for Outstanding Academic Performance.
