 The
Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Development Department supports the
DNALC through major fund initiatives. Development Officer Karen
Orzel is the liaison to the Corporate Advisory Board (CAB) and directs
the Annual Fund Campaign and annual
golf tournament. The Annual Fund Campaign is the DNALC's largest
source of unrestricted support and raised $156,968.50 in 2006.
The Corporate Advisory Board (CAB), established in 1992, serves the Dolan DNA Learning Center as a bridge to the corporate community and assists in securing unrestricted funds for annual support. Comprised of influential business leaders from large and small companies on Long Island, Manhattan, and Connecticut, the CAB is a necessary and vital component to the continued success and mission of the DNALC. Each year the CAB assists with coordination of a golf outing
to benefit the DNALC held at Piping Rock Club in Locust Valley.
The 15th Annual Golf Tournament
took place on Tuesday, June 17th, 2008 and raised approximately $152,000. Thank you to all of the Tournament Sponsors. The 2009 outing is tentatively scheduled for June 9th, 2009. Leadership
