Robert
A. Isaksen
Bob is Bank of America's Long Island Market President. In addition
to his responsibilities as Market President, he is also Market Executive
for Bank of America's Healthcare and Institutions group covering
the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania markets. The group banks
the majority of the major healthcare providers and not-for-profit
institutions in the region. Prior to the merger with Fleet Bank,
he was the Senior Team Leader for Fleet's Metro New York Healthcare
and Institutions group focusing on healthcare providers and all
other not-for-profits located in NYC, Long Island, and the northern
suburbs. Before this assignment, Bob managed Fleet's Long Island
Middle Market and Contractors team from April 2001 to June 2002.
From January 1999 to April 2001, Bob held the position of Senior
Line Credit Officer for Fleet Bank's Metro New York and New Jersey
Middle Market business. After Fleet's acquisition of NatWest Bancorp
in May 1996, Bob held the position of Senior Relationship Manager
on the New York Large Corporate Team, managing a diverse group of
client relationships.
While at NatWest, Bob held a number of line and credit positions.
From 1993 to 1996, Bob was the Division Senior Credit Officer for
the National and Structured Finance Divisions. The National Division
focused on a national corporate lending practice and also included
NatWest's for-profit national healthcare specialty. The Structured
Finance Division was a leveraged lending group focused on sponsor
based and asset based lending transactions.
After graduating the NatWest training program in 1985, he served
as a Relationship Manager in the Leasing and Finance Company Specialty
Lending group for seven years. Bob graduated with a BA in Business
Economics from the State University of New York at Oneonta in 1981.
Bob graduated from Pace University's Lubin Graduate School of Business
with an MBA in Finance in 1987.
A native of Setauket, Long Island, he resides there with his wife,
twin sons and daughter.
Board membership: Long Island Association, Mather Hospital, United
Way, AHRC-Nassau Foundation Board, St. Joseph's College, and Long
Island Philharmonic.
