Kurt Timmel

Kurt Timmel is a Senior Vice President and Client Executive in the Middle Market Practice of Marsh's Long Island Office. His responsibilities include the overall coordination of Marsh's resources as well as account management and new business development. He is part of Marsh's Healthcare, Life Science, Environmental and Higher Education Industry Practices.

Prior to joining the Long Island Office, Kurt served for 8 years as a Client Executive and Broker in our New York City Office, where he was responsible for servicing property, casualty and marine insurance programs for both middle market and large line clients.

A graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy with a bachelor's degree in marine transportation/nautical science, Kurt hold's a master's degree in management and finance from Pace University. He is pursuing his chartered property and casualty underwriter (CPCU) designation.

Kurt lives in Smithtown with his wife, Susan, and their three children, Scott, Victoria and Matthew.
