Tesla letter to H. Laughlin about his genius pedigree

1190. [graphic] Tesla Laboratory Long Island, N.Y. 202 Metropolitan Tower May 23, 1912 H.H. Laughlin, Esq., Superintendent, American Breeders' Association, Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island, N.Y. My dear Sir: I regret to say in reply to your favor of the 17th inst. that I have been so preoccupied and also, to some extent, ill since I last had the pleasure of seeing you that I have been unable to advance in the matter. I shall devote thought to it as soon as my mind is free from the impressions which now dominate me. I believe that I have told you that I have what may be called "inertia of mind" to a pronounced degree so that it takes me sometimes weeks to overcome the momentum acquired and change the subject. Yours very truly, [signed] N. Tesla
