2120. relative mental capacities of boys of different nationalities and of cross-breeds. Dr. McDougal undertook to confer with Mr Schuster and to write as an axperiment[sic], to the master of a school in Jamaica in which mixed races occur, asking for detailed information on this point. Dr. Slaughter asked whether each member of the meeting might be put in the position of a research director. Mr Branford suggested the organisation of literature bearing on the subject, and asked if it would be possible to have corresponding members. Dr. Mott asked whether Eugenics would consider the question of the [underscore]unfit[end underscore]. He suggested that a register of the feeble minded should be kept, which could be done through the L.C.C. medical officers who had knowledge of all the children in the schools. It was decided that the next advisory meeting should be held at the Eugenics Record Office on Wednesday 6th December at 5 p.m., and that there should be a meeting on the first Wednesday in each month.
