New in 2006: Labs for middle school! These middle school field trips have been offered successfully since over 15 years at the Dolan DNA Learning Center in Cold Spring Harbor and can now also be booked at the DNALC West.

We continue to offer our time-tested high school laboratory experiences.

Bioinformatics Field Trips

Scientists identify the information in DNA and proteins using computer-based tools. In our six bioinformatics modules students work with the same tools and data to do what scientists do: analyze human, plant, bacterial, and viral genomes and examine cool three-dimensional structures of proteins.
