The DNA Learning Center West (DNALC West) is devoted to public genetics education. The center is a collaborative effort between Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory's Dolan DNA Learning Center and the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Research Institute. The DNALC West extends traditional laboratory research to the college, precollege, and public levels. Its staff has experience in elementary, secondary, and collegiate instruction; biochemistry and molecular biological research; public relations and development; and opinion research.
