Depression - Treating Symptoms (2)

Description:
Doctor Jon Lieberman outlines three treatments for depression - medication, talk therapy, and a combination of both. The combined approach has consistently been most successful.
Transcript:
My opinion about the treatment of depression is comprehensive. We can look at, and many studies support what I will now mention. There is medication alone, there is talk psychotherapy alone, and thirdly a combination of medications and talk therapy. And in every study that I’m aware of, it’s a combination of medication and talk therapy as being the most efficacious treatment for depression.
